How to use Lunchbox Notes

THE STORY OF  LUNCHBOX NOTES

Story of Lunchbox Notes
Vintage Lunchbox Notes

I started writing lunch box notes for each of my kids when they started grade school — little jokes and doodles written with felt tip pen on scraps of paper.  While the older two outgrew them after a few years, my youngest kept requesting notes year after year and would keep the “good ones” in the pocket of his lunchbox. He also liked to give feedback: nothing too personal, he wanted to be able to share them with his friends. As the years went on, I had to get more creative with the topics and the content matured with my kid: moving from simple jokes to odd trivia and more sophisticated wordplay.

It occurred to me that if he loved getting daily notes, other kids probably would, too. I challenged myself to come up with sets of notes to share.

Lunchbox Notes continued all the way up through high school! You're never too old to get a surprise that makes you smile.
